Hangzhou Silan Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd., established in January 2001, is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the production of semiconductor integrated circuits, special discrete devices and epitaxial wafers. The company, together with its parent company Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries, constitutes a complete IDM enterprise. With a registered capital of 600 million Yuan, the company built the first 5-inch chip manufacturing plant in May 2001, which is the first semiconductor production line invested by private capital in China. The second 6-inch chip manufacturing plant was put into operation in October 2005.

The company has two production lines of 5-inch and 6-inch chips, with an annual production capacity of 2.6 million chips. According to the production capacity rankings of integrated circuit chip manufacturers with different wafer sizes released by the US market research company IC Insights in February 2021, the company ranked the second in the world among chip manufacturers of ≦150mm Wafers (6 inches and less). It mainly produces integrated circuit products with process technologies such as BIPOLAR, CMOS, BICMOS, VDMOS, BCD, and special discrete devices such as switch tubes, voltage regulator tubes, and Schottky diodes. At present, there are 10 product series, and more than 200 products have been mass-produced. The products are applied to various terminal market applications, including computer, communications, energy and consumer electronics markets. It has become a chip supplier of many world-known companies.
